PURPOSE

Our primary goal is to educate and disciple students to be leaders in their church, community, and work place. In order to accomplish this goal, we are committed to working with Christian families who are desiring this same goal for their children.

One way we could explain our admissions criteria would be to describe a typical student at our school. For example:

We look for a bright, motivated student with a dedication to academics. However, because of our unique approach and individualized curriculum, we are committed to working with students and families of all academic backgrounds---we succeed where other more traditional schools have failed. We also want a well-rounded individual. Interests outside of school are important, along with a strong desire to be involved in church and community events.

Full-day Kindergarten through 12th grade classes are offered. While we do not offer a preschool program, an separate and independent preschool is housed within our facility.

APPLICATION PROCESS

We evaluate applications and conduct interviews throughout the year. Contact us to receive an application (or click the link below for a printable version) and then schedule an interview to discuss your child or children's specific needs. We can also arrange a tour of our campus and introduce prospective students and their parents to members of our staff.

Because of our individualized educational curriculum, applications and school transfers are accepted year round!

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe that the ultimate goal of Christian Education is to move students of all ages into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Everything that is taught and emulated to our children should be founded in God’s Word. We believe that the role of the school is to be an extension of the local church and the home. Our goal is to train up our students in the essential and indisputable teachings of the church – the body of Christ.

MISSION STATEMENT
Shenango Valley Christian School Association seeks to provide a quality Christ-centered education to students utilizing the Accelerated Christian Education model, which is goal-centered and individualized to allow each student to excel at a rate commensurate with his or her skill level.

OUR STAFF
We have an experienced and dedicated group of teachers. Each teacher strives to create a supportive and challenging classroom atmosphere. All of our teachers have a vibrant faith and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

CURRICULUM

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is available to families whose school district is within a ten-mile radius of Shenango Valley Faith Academy through the public school system. For families outside of the ten-mile radius, or those who desire to have their children transported privately outside the public school system, transportation may be available through carpooling for a reasonable fee above the cost of tuition.
